Day 1: Airport – Pinnawela – Kandy

Upon your arrival at the airport, our English-speaking chauffeur will warmly welcome you. Your journey begins with a visit to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, located approximately 55 miles from Colombo. Established in 1975, the orphanage cares for abandoned and wounded elephants. Witness the feeding and bathing times, creating memorable encounters with these gentle giants. Arrive in Kandy and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at a Kandy hotel.
